Reflections from CSM 2025: Innovation, Collaboration, and the Future of MSK Care

Last month, the EverEx Team had the privilege of attending the Combined Section Meeting (CSM) in Houston, Texas. Hosted annually by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), CSM is a premier event that brings together professionals from every sub-chapter of the organization for learning sessions, networking, and collaboration.
From the moment we stepped into the exhibit hall to our final conversation at our booth, there was an unmistakable energy in the air—one fueled by passion, curiosity, and a shared commitment to advancing musculoskeletal (MSK) care.
Conversations That Mattered
One of the most rewarding aspects of CSM 2025 was engaging in meaningful discussions with practitioners who are eager to explore how digital health technologies, including Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM), could be integrated into their practices. Our booth traffic continued to include visits from industry leaders in the MSK space, where we discussed potential collaborations to deliver even greater value to providers and patients, as well as current EverEx users, who shared real-world insights into their challenges and successes, reinforcing our commitment to continuous innovation.
A Broken Status Quo
As we spoke with practitioners, one theme became clear: the status quo of delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a sustainable practice is broken. From declining reimbursements to operational inefficiencies, providers are facing mounting pressure. However, the conversations at CSM reaffirmed that solutions exist—implementing RTM effectively in outpatient settings can drive better patient outcomes and enhance practice sustainability.
Showcasing the Future
Between our exhibit hall booth and TechnoPalooza, we were able to showcase our technology to clinicians and demonstrate first-hand how our intuitive and easy to use products enhance the provider and patient experience and empower both parties. Seeing clinicians experience our platform in real-time reinforced our mission: enabling personalized rehabilitation that meets the evolving needs of modern MSK care.
The Road Ahead
Being able to spend multiple days deeply engaged with the MSK community further underscored the importance of EverEx’s mission of enabling personalized rehabilitation given the problems and inefficiencies experienced on a daily basis by providers and their patients. Our team looks forward to tackling these profound challenges of declining reimbursements and the need for personalized care afflicting clinicians and patients alike.
